Worsted weight stash/scraps. I thought I’d have plenty before I started this but if I want to achieve the amazingly huge and beautiful mandalas I’ve seen on IG and in the group, I’m almost certain I will be buying more.

Periodic and Random Measurements & Notes:

• Width after part 3 - 18in
• Crab stitch round (25?) took 6g worsted, appx 12yds
• Weight after part 4 - 263g (no flowers)
• Width after part 4 - 21in
• Width after round 41 - 27in
• Considered going up to 5.5mm (I) for round 42 but Sophie isn’t billowing in the middle.
• Ripped rounds 42-44 3 times due to stitch count. Single ply yarn did NOT help.
• End of Part 5 - 27.5”
• Starting Part 6 5/8/15
• Width after Part 6 - 37”
• Weight after round 69 = 897g (~2lbs)
• Width after round 69 = 41” at least
• Finally starting to curl at round 69
• Part 10 complete: July 25, 2015
• Part 10 width = ~53” at widest
• Butterfly round = 100g+50g+
