Have made one small mod to the original charts. This will be my first crack at colorwork! =) Using Knit companion for the first time - set up for the charts is SO awesome!

02/07: Swatched and had to up a needle size to get gauge - off to watch tubular cast-on tutorial and then will get cracking on mitt #1! =D

Cast-on learned - can’t believe I didn’t have this technique in my knitting arsenal before! What a wonderful cast-on for ribbing! First 10 rows of chart completed, and now must put on hold until my white yarn shows up! =(

02/13: Yarn made it, yay! Will get back to working on these tonight after I get the last 5 rows of my shawl finished!

02/21: Woo! All done - added a pic of the FO blocking, will take proper pics tomorrow when I have better light. Happy with how the vertical reverse on the chart turned out. Not overly thrilled with the white yarn I bought. Definitely needed something with higher twist so that there was more stretch horizontally. These were such a quick knit - i will definitely make more, maybe only with 2 colors next time, LOL!
