Doing toe up. Stash yarn, wrappers missing. Knitting up really fast, considering I started yesterday morning and worked both days.

I took a few days off, but I’m almost done now with the first one. Leg is same length as foot, just have to start and finish the cuff.

April 18:

I finished the first sock this morning and immediately cast on for the second….about 12 times. I kept missing one stitch on one needle for the toe.

I finally got it while I was at work, and finished the toe, only to realize, these socks will be upside down twins.
Since these were two of the first balls of sock yarn I ever got-when I knew nothing of dye lots or anything, I didn’t wind them the same. So they’ll be upside down twins, which is sort of cool. Also, the colors aren’t matching that well, as far as the sections with more than one color (the black/white and grey/white parts).

Grrr…I’m almost to the heel part, and just realized I did the pattern on both sides of the instep part. Whoops!

Finished 5/14/15. I took a picture and then the phone died. Pictures tomorrow, for sure!

A little about the yarn: when I bought this yarn, I knew nothing about dye lots, so I would just grab balls of yarn not even thinking about if they actually matched, these are unwashed as of right now, but as you can see, the colors are very different, though they are the same colorway.
