Notes

Inspired by the beautiful photos of
Ella Gordon’s Hansel-project, I gathered all my four colors in the brand new Cornish Tin-yarn, and made my first hap!

Next time: make the shawl wider (start with a larger center triangle)

Shell lace border with 4 colors (instead of 5).
I use Color sequence A like this:
CC4 = orange
CC1= MC = red
CC2 = pink
CC3 = grey

I skipped the “sawtooth”-edging, like Ella Gordon (and others) have done. After knitting row 3-14 of the shell lace border for the second time, I continued in MC and knitted row 15-19.

Finishing: 2-stitch i-cord bind-off.
With a larger needle (4 mm instead of 3,5 mm)

Total weight: 177 grams
Size (original) : 144 (139) cm wide and 64 (72,5) cm in depth
Gauge (original): 18 (17) sts and 34 rows = 4 inches in garter stitch
