I presumed my 2 precious skeins (200 g) of Blend no 1 would not be enough for this big shawl, and I therefore added a pink CC for the eyelet rows (I chose 8 rows CC each time), plus for the picot bind off.

MC: grey/natural (Blend no. 1) (2 skeins +)
CC: pink (Cornish Tin II) (1 skein -)

Total weight: 312 g

Measurements, my shawl (and the original):

256 (200) cm long and 60 (45) cm deep - with picots

Gauge:

17-18 (18) sts x 38 (46) rows = 10 cm in garter stitch

The eyelet rows (double yo-s) fill much space, and at first I was not super-happy by the sloppy look of them. But now I am beginning to like these “craters” … Anyway: Maybe it would have been better to knit these CC rows with thinner needles? Link to test knit thread
