Could not resist to “slice up” and add some personal touch to my Ingwer: Instead of only using yellow all the way, I switched to grey in the garter stitch sections (= Section 2).

I didn’t have enough of the hand dyed “Sunshine”-yarn from Dandelion (bought in 2014) but luckily, the new “Sonnennblume”-shade from the original yarn source, Rosy Green Wool, matched almost perfectly.

Total weight: 214 grams

My size (original size):
157 (210) cm wingspan along the top edge and 66 (60) cm width. The left edge: 149 cm. The bind-off edge: 115 cm.

Gauge: ca 19 sts x 30 rows in garter stitch = 10 x 10 cm

The edges:
I unraveled my first cast on, because I was not happy with the look of the left edge. Changed to this to get smoother edges: A slip-stitch selvage on the left edge. And a built in I-cord on the right (upper) edge

To avoid “waves” between section 1 and section 2 (the different stitch structure makes a non-matching gauge): I decreased stitches along the first row of section 2 (and increased these again to get “back to normal” after section 2 was finished).
