Nøstebarn Merinoull 2-tråds
Pickles Pure Thin Alpaca

Doubled two thin types of yarn: One thread of merino + one thread of alpaca.

Did some small modifications:

1) Used a thinner yarn (chunky is too thick for the kids!) - and therefore consulted the “Owl”-pattern (= for grown ups) to get the right number of stitches: I started with 116 m. But I did not use short rows at all.

2) The rib: TWISTED instead of “normal”:
k2 tbl (= 2 VRIDD rett), p2 (= 2 vrange)

I was not so happy with the look of the yoke/neckline,
so I reknitted it, and did some changes:

3) The owl chart: Repeated the purl row (= row No 1 of the chart) once more after the chart was finished, as an extra row No 20 to make the finish of the chart more clear.

4) The neck edging: Changed the increases a bit to make it look nicer. Looks better now, but I am still not satisfied. But … it is not looking so better in the other projects, so maybe this is just how it is should be..?

The sweater turned out quite long and narrow, but I do not like to baggy clothes for active children, anyway.
But: A bit more width on the sleeves (more stitches)
and the body a bit shorter the next time.
