This scarf is my tribute to the Norwegian Annichen Sibbern Bøhn! She travelled our countryside in the 1920s and collected old folk patterns.

I have made the scarf by knitting almost all of the different charts in the book “Norwegian Knitting Design” by Annichen Sibbern Bøhn (reprint 2011, with a new foreword by Terri Shea).

Original title of this book: “Norske strikkemønstre” (1929) (not strikkemonstre! - and not Bohn, but Bøhn)
