Notes

My scarf version of the beautiful mittens “Skogfeens hage” (In the garden of the Forest Fairy) made by Tori Seierstad.

Knitted in the round (40 cm circular needle)
Cast on: 108 stitches

The first half (= ca 92 cm)
1) Started with a feather and fan edge/bølgjemønster.
(18 sts X 6 repeats). Repeated the 4 rounds X 6 times.

2) ROSE-pattern from chart B:
37 sts X 3 repeats = 111 sts

3) 31 rounds MC (= ca 9 cm)
4) Chart A
15 rounds MC
Chart A repeated, but now knitted upside down
5) X cm MC to reach the middle

The other half (= ca 92 cm, like the first half)
1) (see the first half)
2) TULIP-pattern from chart B:
35 sts X 3 repeats = 105 sts
(… next time I will use more leaves to decorate/fill the empty parts with more CC between the tulips)
3)4)5) (see the first half)

Used kitchener stitch to graft the two halves together.

Total length: ca 184 cm
Diameter: ca 19 cm (= ca 38 cm circ/omkrets)
Total weight: 312 g
