Notes

I learned to crochet when I was 8 years old…..but knitting became an obsession just a few years ago. I had not thought about doing a big crochet project in quite some time.

One evening while browsing through the flowers on Ravelry I came across the African Flower Hexagon and was in love. It looked like a modern twist on my Grandmother’s hexagon pattern and I knew immediately I had to pull out the crochet hooks. I was inspired by other bags that people were making out of the hexagons and just had to make one too.

I’m totally happy with the results and to make it really sturdy I have lined the interior of the bag with a heavy weight fabric.
