Started 11/14
1st mitt down, thumb unfinished 11/17

11/22 finished 3rd mitt - 1st mitt, yarn a bit tight through color changes; 2nd mitt too loose! at least 25% larger than 1st mitt!
3rd mitt, nearly right, a little tight in places. ( like Goldilocks and the Three Bears) Iam learning as I knit
3rd mitt used smaller needles: 3.25mm/US3 & 4mm/US6

11/ 22 started 4th mitt, still using smaller needles
11/27 finished 5th mitt
11/28 finished thumbs on last 2 mitts, wove ends in, blocked;
once dry, will embroider nose, eyes, mouth and outline of
faces
(at least after working 5 mitts my color changes and tension has greatly improved, but making these was harder than I thought)

11/28 finished! Cannot decide which is cuter - cat face with, or without the black outline. will let the gift recipient or decide.

I very much enjoyed making the checkerboard thumb part!

finished size:
8” long, top to bottom
Just under 3” wide at wrist
4” across palm/back of hand to base of thumb

Embroidered and outlined all cat faces front and back.
