Starting at 224g (label adds 2g)

September 22- through row 32
9/24 - through row 36: frogged several times trying to get the shells and wdctog3 rows correct ( R32, R33)
9/26 - through Row 36 (frogging many times!)
9/27 - through R53

9/29 - frogging back two rows again - note to self that triple crochet shells are tedious especially in these long rows. Finding a mistake and then frogging back is time consuming. Large shell row 40 min + chain v row 16 min = 56 min. Found mistakes in redoing rows and just kept crocheting through this time. Perhaps doing crochet after periodontal surgery makes it more difficult (!) but am thankful to be able to crochet :) looking forward to the end of these rows!!!! Shawl pattern is quite lovely, though tedious :) 9 more rows to go! Thankful to be using Whirl as it encourages me on to watch as the color subtly changes, with the changes small threads by thread…and the little furry parts that slip through my fingers where the threads are attached.

10/01 through R60
10/03 @start of R63 ran out of yarn-disappointed, thought one ball was enough have another ball of Whirl in a different color scheme, and am pressing on! Hooray! (begin @ 226g)

10/05 through R65
10/06 finished; did not sc around upper edge

on to blocking :)
