Notes

Crocheted using Attic24’s Neat Ripple Pattern and a 4.5mm hook, then blanket stitched to a wool fabric envelope as the gaps between the stitches were a bit too big - if I had more time, I would have to start again using a smaller hook.

To fill in the “dips” at the top and bottom edges and square everything up, I did two rows. I can’t remember exactly what stitches in the whirlwind of trying to finish this in time, but it was something like the following:

Row 1: slip stitch x 2, dc x 2, htr, tr x 2 (then reversed for other half of dip)
Row 2: dc x 4, htr x 3 (then reversed for other half of dip)
