Thanks to the generous Heather of Sereknity Yarn and Fiber, I have a gorgeous, lofty skein of her new 100% Superwash Merino aran weight yarn.

I can’t tell you how lovely this yarn is - it is SO soft and squeezable. No pilling, no splitting and just extremely nice to knit with. I love how this color is a semi-solid - it gives the cables and fabric a bit of depth and interest.

I used a lightweight cotton quilting flannel fabric for this scarf in a rose/flowered pattern by Debbie Mumm that I bought at JoAnn Fabrics.

Yay for my 3rd Bobbi’s Birthday Scarf!

NOTE: I omitted the second cable cross in this pattern as a variation to the pattern. If you decide to do this, make the first cable cross and then knit 12 more rows (in pattern) before making the next cable cross.
