This project has been a fun knit and it is progressing well. Have not modified pattern at all so far.

Wondering whether the cable pattern is a little lost with the dark shade of yarn that I am using, but will persevere for now.

Finished! Love the drapiness of the neckline. Made the body slightly longer than given in the pattern directions and in hindsight should have added maybe another inch. A very warm sweater, which will be a perfect layer for those freezing days watching the boys play football.
