I wanted a sturdier look, so I went down 2 needle sizes. I really love the resulting fabric and I think it’ll make a nice kerchief when it’s finished. I needed a bit more length in the stockinette section but didn’t have the yarn for 7 repeats of the pattern, so I did some quick math and worked 6. Easy, quick pattern, even with the mods. <48 hours from CO to BO.

She gives the recipe for an odd number of repeats, but if you want 6, you work 45 increase rows, and on the last row you add 1 stitch to each section (m1, lift 1, kfb, take your pick). Since the chart is 15x + 2, it works out to be:

90 increased stitches over 90 rows + the original stitch + the extra increase = 92 (or 15 x 6 + 2)

The finished product goes to the nice lady who did our taxes for free this year (bless her.) Hopefully she will appreciate it. Better photos later.
