I wanted fingerless mitts that had texture and movement, yet had a certain simplicity to them. After toodaling around the patterns section, I realized that I wasn’t going to find them there, and I already knew what I wanted them to look like.

I had to “invent” two twisted decreases to make sure my line of twisted stitches remained unbroken. I also used a variant on a Lift 1 increase so that the new stitches appeared from behind the arched line. On the whole, I am quite pleased with the outcome.
