The marker shifts five stitches forwards on row 29.

I love the idea of using cables to define your points in lace rather than steep decreases. The 10 stitch cable is awesome and makes the internal flower looks sort of like a puffy sea urchin.

Part of me wants to re-knit this without the double yarn overs and instead make it similar to a frost flower, with lace on all rows, not just the odd numbered ones. I think it would even out the flowers a little bit.

Mine is significantly larger (aka more than double the diameter) than the original.
