I made these mittens to donate to The Putney School Harvest Festival auction. They are adult medium, knitted, with a needle felted butterfly added after the knitting is done.

To needle felt into mittens, a ‘solid’ mitten works nicely as a base. The body of this pair was knitted with two strands of yarn: Peace Fleece worsted ‘Baltic Blue’ and Brown Sheep Nature Spun Sport Weight ‘Deep Sea’.
