23 Sept: Cast this on on Saturday, Sept. 21. The yarn is so soft and smooth! Can’t wait to meet the special baby who will wear it.

28 Sept: Finished the knitting. It’s not perfect. My right side increases are far smoother than my left side increases, and the band ended up looking slightly odd around that section. But, it looks so adorable, and small, and baby-like… I just need to work in the ends and sew up the seams!

I kind of wish I had a baby I could try this little thing out on before I give it away…

Oct. 17: Siiigh… The dogs got their teeth into the nearly finished little baby jacket. Ripped off the adorable lady bug buttons I had sewn on. And, unfortunately, ruined one of the button holes. I’m trying to salvage, and it’s looking good, but I’m so disappointed in them.

Oct 21: Fixed and gifted! Jen loved it. Very happy with how this turned out!

Jan 28: Added a photo of the finished sweater on the little one it was meant for. She’s three months old now, and has grown into it beautifully - just in time for the super cold day we’ve had today!
