Very clear pattern for a beginner. I enjoyed making it very much. I wish the cowl would drape more. The garter stitch was enough to prevent rolling in my case.

I started knitting this in my size but since I knit quite loose, it looked rather huge. I undid the few rows I had done and started again one size smaller.

I have now learnt how to make increases and decreases (well one of many ways I guess).
