July 14:Uh, despite my being very careful, the yarn felted a little on its first wash. Oh well, it’s still lovely.

July 10: This was a quick and lovely knit. I am very happy with the colour I picked! I must have been very tired last week though. I had to partially frog it twice because of stupid mistakes I made.

About the calculations: My gauge was 1.1x smaller than what it should be so I multiplied all the numbers in the pattern by 1.1x roughly. Seems to have worked perfectly.

July 3: I’m using worsted yarn instead of bulky. Gauge with 6mm needles is 14.5 stitches for 4 in, so I’m casting on 73 stitches instead of 67. According to my calculations, and to what others have already done before, it should work. Fingers crossed!
