Notes

Working title for shawl is Falling Leaves. Will probably be renamed. The stitch pattern reminds me of a chimney or a wood burning stove.

Picked out/bought yarn on 4/23/11. Mr. SpiderKate also came up with name for shawl on this day, but I’m going to keep in a surprise for the time being.

Finalized triangle swatch on 5/6/11

Cast on for shawl on 5/12/11

06/03/11 - Project didn’t get a lot of attention while I worked on a mystery shawl KAL, but I’m back at it. Loving it so far and definitely recommend putting in lifelines with this type of yarn.

Cast off on 8/8/11 - this project took me longer than I would have liked, but I cast on and off for a couple of other projects during this time. Next up is blocking and writing up the full pattern. Also need to get photographs up and have the pattern test knit.

8/9/11 - Blocked this today, but might have to re-block..not sure I like how I pinned out the points.
