Notes

This En Fuego Shawl is for the Knitters Unlimited Guild KAL running from April to August.

I believe that I cast-on for this in April, but have only worked on it off & on since then. Trying to make a push to finish it up so that I can focus on some other lace projects.

Note: Got through all of Chart A and Rows 1-10 of the first repeat of Chart B before starting the second skein of yarn.

One repeat of Chart B done. One to go.

Finished the two repeats of Chart B. Next up: Chart C!

Finished one repeat of Chart C. At this point the shawl has used 72 g of yarn which is ~662 yds of yarn.

Completed the bind off on 7/2/12. Shawl weights 81-82 grams so it used approx. 718 yds of yarn. Plan to block tomorrow or the next day.

Blocked 7/4-7/5/12.

Blocked measurements of 61.5” wide and 29” down the spine. I think this shawl has a little more stretch to it, width wise, but I didn’t push it in the blocking.

Will be taking finished pictures today and posting them.

Having a hard time getting a photograph that is true to the color. The best one is either the first picture or the fourth picture (wip picture).
