Notes

Yarn: Columbia Worsted Yarn. This is 100% wool yarn at 770 yds/lb. It is made from Corriedale Wool.

I bought this undyed so I could match the colors to my living room. (Though I do think I added too much gold. I tried not to, but I liked it too much!)

I also decided to use a worsted weight yarn so I could use size 8 or 9 needles as that much knitting on 10.5’s would kill my hands.

1/23/2011: I’m about 2/3’s of the way complete as I’m almost done with ball 2 out of 3. I’m all scrunched up on 32 length needles and need to get a longer pair. (Completed on 60 inch needles, btw.)

2/4/2011: Completely finished including blocking! I used the 3 row bind off, but I don’t think I love it. It is sort of ruffly on the “hills” and very stretched in the “valleys.” I don’t think I would recommend that one. But, aside from the bind-off. I love this!!! I did freak for a bit during blocking, but then I figured out how to be more aggressive and pinned from the middle working out a few inches at a time and it was amazing that it could go from essentially a cone shaped object to a flat blanket!!!
