Ok, I frogged the first go and choose to work 3 balls rather than carry the yarn. This made the stripes thicker but it was the right choice for the fabric overall. I like the way it looks like fluffy clouds.

The FROG was worth it, the fabric is coming together much better! I just need to make the sleeves and this baby will be ready for the street!

Sleeve alteration, Knit 12 seed stitch at the end so I didn’t have to switch colors twice.

Knit first 3, 2st increases then knit for 20rows between the last two increases.

I choose to do the increase by picking up a stitch one in from the ends.

I added a subltle touch of a knit heart on each sleeve starting at row 70
Total of 90 rows from start of lace pattern.

Had some trouble seaming initially. Put the sweater in a box for a year. Today I decided that there was no way I was moving an unfinished sweater. So I sat down sucked it up and finished!
