My first project knit specifically for our new little princess due 4th August 2013, cast on the day after we found out her gender

Using 4ply (and some thin 6ply that will knit the same) that was gifted to us when Snowbunny’s biological family shifted to Australia. 100% wool stripes of Clan Stewart 4ply in pink, and Shepherd bambino 6ply in white, cream, and baby blue - all machine washable.

Expecting there will be enough wool left for a matching potae hat. Starting with 115grams

22/3/13 - Finished, didn’t take as long as I thought it might being 4ply, I added a couple of cm to the arm and body length as would prefer roll up long sleeve if needed than have them too short, also added 4stitches under the arms(still reduced sleeve count to pattern stated in first few rows) and didn’t reduce needle size for ribbing as I didn’t want the front to pull up too much and didn’t have 2.75mm short circulars for the sleeve cuffs

Used 79grams, that leaves me with 36grams for matching hat/ socks
