Didn’t have enough BWM ruby left for this as first planned but raided my stash to find other reds to use. Seems appropriate to be starting a poppy red colour item on ANZAC day

Started with Red ridinghood yarn down the button band too, but I was just ending up in a big tangle so frogged back and started again with it just on bands/ hem.

Love the Spotlight glitter lady bug buttons, very cute

Trying to decide on embelishments of this, perhaps a knitted leaf with a ladybug button on the bottom left

26/4/13 - Did 4rows stst then daisy stitch on sleeves, just did it from memory (have knit Tikki’s Annabel recently) but did them inside out and incidentally the sleeves look quite cool folded back. Progress pic taken

29/4/13 - Finished, only took a couple of days actual knitting but I was busy on a course for 2days in the middle of this project. Another very cute newborn item, love how the daisies make it more feminine even though its a unisex pattern in a unisex colour. Embelished with a leaf to finish off the red ladybug theme
