We are winter at the moment and this will be a perfect spring cardigan for my daughter

24/6/14 - Progress pics added, and evidence that the pattern would make a lovely little shrug if you just cast off after the ribbing… though who wouldn’t want to do the beautiful lace that comes next, reminds me of a wedding train gracing the back of the pretty cardigan

10/7/14 - Finished last night and quick pre-blocking photos this morning. I added 2inches to the length (3complete lace repeats) and hoping to block another couple of inches out of the back as I love the long elegant look of this lace. Changed up to 4mm needles for the last 3rd of the lace. Used less than one ball of BWM luxury 8ply, 195grams total = 390m = 426yards (extra length accounted for 20grams so to pattern lengths the total would be 350meters). Love the fit on Krystel, just stunning in this colour too. Can’t wait for it to dry and take proper pics
