I like my Waffle hat better, but this was still an interesting knit. Using up some more acrylic!

• Worked on a set of 5 dpns instead of circular

• Knitted the ribbing for 1 inch and the stitch pattern for 7 inches.

• Altered pattern slightly by working only the first 3 rounds and omitting the 4th (a knit).

• On my last knit round, I k2tog all the way around, then followed it up with the p2tog round (there was one stitch left, so I purled it by itself). I had fewer stitches to gather up at the end.

• Hat needs some blocking to stretch it out a bit as it’s kinda snug on me. Considering this is supposed to be given to a grown man, I hope my efforts will be successful.
