  • Gauge: 17 sts = 4 inches on US6 dpns

  • 1 inch of st st followed by 1 inch of 2x2 rib for the brim

  • Worked 1 additional pattern repeat

  • Lace pattern is very simple and hat works up quickly.

  • Blocked over a large dinner plate. Blocking is a MUST with this hat. It slouches much better afterward.

This would have been done and blocked in under a week, but I was busy nursing a sinus infection and cough.
