October 15, 2010- Out of hibernation. Oh the shame. I’ve pulled this out of my closet and am determined to finish it. Thank goodness buying a house has put me in decorating mode.

October 22, 2010- Now I know why this was tucked away in the closet. I forgot how much thread crochet kills my hand and wrist! The pain kept getting worse, so I stopped crocheting for a day and it started to get better. The tablecloth will have to be finished very slowly. =(

An easy to memorize join-as-you-go motif. Each motif measures about 7 inches, square. I’m making it to fit my dining room table and estimate that it’ll take about 16 rows of 9 to cover it (and that’s without the leaf in the table).
