A Tool I used is a small tool I purchased from knitpicks: yarn guide It goes on your finger like a ring and you can threat up to five strands of yarn through it. It is very useful for Fair Isle knitting. However I knit the continental way and would not know how I would use this if I knitted the English way…

Final changes I shortened both the hand part and the thumb by a few rows and did a regular bind off; they were too long and too loose before; now Matthew likes them a lot :) :) :) !

Changes : Matt tried one on after I finished the cuff (about 2”) and did not like the loose fit, so I went down to the instructions for size 7” across the knuckles and changed the garter stitch rows to ribbing.

It seems as if I opened a Pandora’s box. This is my fifth pair this season already. I must say it is nice to have found something everyone wants me to knit up for them. Matthew wanted white and a strong contrast so I think this may be the right gloves for him.
