Notes

Changes I made to the pattern: I chained 145 stitches for a shorter version with bulkier yarn on a larger hook. This is a nice size for a scarf just worn under your coat or jacket; especially most men don’t care for long flowing scarves.
This pattern is one of the new patterns we got in at the store, so if you like this, come in and buy your copy :)
Since we didn’t have many crochet store samples I crochet this scarf. Because of the stitch used, it looks almost like a knitted stitch. It is started on the long end and thus it shows off the variegated yarn really nicely. It is not up on the designer’s website yet, but this is the link for when she will post it: francine Toukou patterns
The yarn is really nice to work with. It is part wool, part camel and part silk and the colors are stunning while still subtle. This yarn comes in many nice variegated tones.
