Notes

Lovely pattern. I wanted the hat to fit our 8 year old nephew who is crazy about Dr Who so I made the smallest size on size 6 needles in DK yarn.
I didn’t like the way the windows looked so I made the following change to make all four sides of the Police Box look the same:
Put a stitch maker every 25 stitches.
Row 1-4: k3 blue, k2white, k1 blue, k2 white, k1 blue, k2 white, k3 blue, k2 white, k1 blue, k2 white, k1 blue, k2 white, k3 blue repeat three more times.
Row 5: k all blue
Row 6-9: Same as row 1-4
Row 10: Same as row 5
(Please note the cool stitch markers I used; a gift from a dear friend).

I also kept 2 knit stitches on each corner of the roof where I decreased even when the pattern called for a complete row of purl stitches.

Can’t wait for him to see the hat!!!
Nathan LOVES the hat; he commented that he needs a TARDIS hat for his big brain ;)
