I readily agreed to do this test knit before the pattern can go into kits for sale at the Perfect Blend Yarn Shop during the Sheep & Wool Festival 2021 aka Rhinebeck.

It’s been a while that I have knitted socks cuff down and on DPN’s, so it’s fun to re-visit this traditional method. Since I started during my vacation on Cape Cod it’s a bit of a slow start, but once back home I will be working on them much more vigilantly.

9.19. Didn’t work on it that much after all, but got back home yesterday and finished the cuff today. I prefer my cuff shorter and two repeats were all I needed. Now on to the heel.
I like the cable texture pattern. It reminds me of the one used on the Waveform Sweaterr with its seemingly floating cables against a background of Purl stitches. Very pretty.

9.22. The heel flap is done, the heel is turned and I am at the toe . This is a relatively quick fun knit.
I added a strand of lace yarn in the toe for additional strength.

9.25. Both socks are done and I don’t want to take them off my feet; happy feet.
