I needed a scarf that would go with my cute little felt hat. The green of the yarn goes with the flower on the hat. Knitting a leaf border is just such a perfect match.

Done. It looks great without blocking, but does need a bit of a stretch to show off the lovely leaves.

The yarn is wonderful soft and great for this pattern. I knit 8 leaf pattern repeats in the increase section, 11 repeats straight section and again 8 repeats in the decrease section. Exactly one skein. I have about 40cm of yarn left. Perfect.
