A pleasure to knit this cardigan. The pattern is very well written. I love when designers make both charts and written instructions and when they write how many stitches are left after decreases and increases. Carol Feller’s pattern is very instructive and easy to follow.

Modifications: I made the sleeves 2” shorter and they fit. My arms must be rather short because I always have to knit the sleeves shorter!

April 27 - Finished, and I just love it!

April 25 - I’ve had some problems about shaping the collar. But I’ve numbered my marks and I have now made the short rows. I started 5 sts before the the fourth marker on the right side and made the next one on the wrong side 5 sts before the first marker. I finished the short rows when I reached the second marker on the right side and the third marker on the wrong side.
It seems that I have worked the short rows from the widest to the narrowest point but in the pattern they are worked from the narrowest to the widest.

April 18 - Back and sleeves are finished and I’ve started to pick up stitches from the back.
Thanks to JRoKnits I used the decrease calculator to figure out how to pick up 81 stitches evenly along 97 rows of knitting: One of the directions in the calculator was to k4, k2tog. That’s getting 5 stitches out of a total of 6 so I picked up 5 stitches, then skipped one.
