Notes

This has been a real pleasure to knit! I tend to go for more challenging projects, but this shawl called out to me. It was a simple knit that was easy to memorize, and it soothed my soul.

Due to the fact that the yardage of my skeins was going to be either super close, or simply too short, I decided to make the shawl larger and use a contrast color for the edging. I added two extra 10 stitch repeats horizontally, and one extra 20 stitch repeat vertically.

I’m also using the frilled standard bind-off to make a stretchy, sturdy edging for blocking.

Retrospective:
If I were to do it again, I would have not worked the extra 10 stitch repeat horizontally and worked a second repeat vertically in order to make it more square.
