I originally bought a skein of yarn in the $1 bin. It had no label, and it was an extra chunky; something I don’t normally buy, but the color called to me. The variegated blues, greens, grays, purples reminded me of the Gulf of Mexico in Southern Florida. As there was only one skein left, I had no choice but to cut it with something else! A trip to the yarn store brought the yarn count to four. The ripple pattern is reminiscent of the ocean waves.
