Before I use the real yarns I’d like to try this pattern with, I’m making a test shawl out of spare sock yarn I have laying around. Odds are, I’m not going to use this yarn for anything else (not colors I wear often, and I bought it for a specific, commissioned project), so why not make it into a test shawl?
