Notes

A very easy, mindless, almost meditative knit, perfectly suitable while traveling on train (as I do every day for more than an hour) because you don’t need to look at the pattern any more after a few rows.

Counting the rounds is essential though and of course I made a mistake on the fourth pattern repeat (knit-part), knitting 5 rounds instead of four.

As the scarf seemed a bit small anyway I added a few more repeats to it. Still very small, not an ample cowl.

I also would recommend using a more loose bind-off than indicated, preferably Jeny’s Surprisingly Stretchy Bind-off by Jeny Staiman (curiousjeny). Perfect Video Tutorial by Cat Bordhi.

The pattern bind-off looks nice, but as a tight knitter as I am, the result still doesn’t stretch enough when you try to block the scarf “larger” (as I did).
