I just happened to be in Sun Valley on the day that would have been Hemingway’s 113th birthday.
That morning, I knit him a flower and left it on his grave on my way out of town. A visitor before me left the empty bottle of Black Butte Porter (my favorite beer!) so I tied the flower to the neck of the bottle.
