Notes

Cable CO 60 sts for size 40 (then increased to 62 sts = 43” due to sizing comments) on 6 mm KnitPro symphony interchangable cables. Using Rocky Coast cardigan sizing errata https://coastalknits.com/errata to add room to yoke and sleeves.
Cabling without a cable needle which is great!

I am using smaller place-markers for each cable repeat (every 6 sts) because otherwise my cables would move due to increases.

This is GREAT fun to knit. My stitch-count before dividing the sleeves is 29 for front, 50 for sleeves and 78 for back (6 pattern repeats). This means a lot more sts for sleeves and front but very moderately on the back.

Worked about 15 rows of rib on 5 mm needles.

CO 14 sts underarm when dividing the arms so the pattern markers won’t need to be moved. Knit sleeves on 6 mm dpn:s: first row knit, then start pattern.

Remember NOT to pick up too much sts on the back for the collar so the cardi won’t fall off shoulder so easily.

The yarn is simply amazing to knit - I keep admiring it all the time :-)
