K1tbl, P1 rib for 15 rnds.
Knit 3 rnds.
M1r, K1, M1l, knit to the end. Knit 2 rnds. Repeat to have 11 thumbs sts.
Knit 10 rnds.
Move the last 3 sts of the last rnd and 17 sts of the new rnd (20 sts) to holder.
Knit the nose (see pattern).
Knit the thumb.

With white yarn slip the first 3 sts on the holder, knit 14 sts, pick up and knit 8 sts “behind the nose”, knit 3 sts (28 sts).
