Living as I do in an extremely hot climate, I have about a million camisoles…all of which are store-bought. I finally realized they were something I could easily knit for myself, so I took some measurements from a favorite lace-trimmed one, did some calculations for gauge and shaping, and voila! The Cecily camisole was knitted up in just a couple of days--it’s a really fast knit because A) it’s mostly stockinette, and B) there’s hardly anything to it, being a camisole…but the lace edging and waist/bust shaping prevent it from being completely boring.
The pattern is all set to go, and I’m looking for test-knitters for this one. If anyone would like to make it in the sock yarn of their choice (7 sts/9 rows = 1” in stockinette is the target gauge), send me a message and I’ll send you the pattern!
