After having the cardi for about a year, I had to admit to myself that I didn’t like the fit of it. Too wide, fronts too flappy and uneven as well. Using the yarn for the Cantilever sweater instead.

I didn’t love working with the Harn the first time around, but somehow now I really do. This obviously not meant to be!

I’ve gotten Amy Herzog’s book Fit to flatter four years ago, and since then I wanted to make a sweater based on my own measurements. It’s finally happening!

Sizing adjusments

• CO 117 st. Work decrease row every other row 8 times. Place decreases at 39/39/39.
• Work even for 4 rows.
• Increase every 14th row 3 times.
• Knit straight for 15 more rows.

Front

• Decrease darts 5 st from armhole edge
• Firat decrease in 4th row of Stickinette stitch

Size
I have an upper bust measurement of 100 cm. I chose size XL (102 cm), which will give me just a tiny bit of positive ease in the shoulders. I will have to make adjustments for my bust (114 cm).
