Pattern
Right mitt:
The lower part was thought to represent the sheaths lying on the paper. But I didn’t take into account to to leave some space between them and they turned out as circles. Something to fix the next time. Then I tried to recreate the weaving pattern on one of the sheaths. It’s a little to tiny and doesn’t really show, so I think further along I will try the same pattern in a larger scale.

Left mitt:
It’s rather a “brother” to the first one than a perfect twin. I used different needles, which led to a little bit of confusion on my side. The pair doesn’t match that well - much longer cuff on the second one… Ooops ;) - but it was so fun working with them and rather reall see the project as kind of a swatch instead of trying to make them “perfect”. And it was really fun to continue develop the patterns that I had worked with in the first one, e.g. the lighter section under the thumb which I came up with when looking on the background paper the sheaths are lying on.
