This little owl has been sitting, waiting for me in my library, for some time now. I was put off by the chart.
Not because it was difficult, which it wasn’t, but because I’d never tried to knit from a chart before.
So I thought to myself, hey, Self, why not give that a try tonight.
Oh, and let’s be a little different and put a seed stitch edging around it too,
While he’s not Hedwig, I think he’s handsome.
Tomorrow I’ll block him and find interesting fabric and put a backing on it.

My partner gave me the greatest idea to make this into a scarf. Or, Hootey (as I think of him) could grace pockets of a sweater, or a vest, or a bag, or…..
The possibilities are endless!
