Notes

I do like Norah Gaughan designs. That’s why I don’t follow them strictly.
In no way it is an attempt to improve practically perfect things. Moreover, there is always a risk to break the fine equilibrium between the image as a whole and all its details, - what is one of the most attractive features of Norah’s designs.
The design’s message is very neat. Such kind of things – where the details are doled so accurately - contain a lot of space for imagination. And, on the other hand, here is hidden the temptation “to speak out”. Sometimes I can’t resist:(.

In this case the changes were made in sleeves. It seemed to me something medieval: you know, The Lady of Shalott, Queen Guinevere, defenseless beauty, mystery, fate… So, I opened wrists decreasing the length of the sleeves (besides, it is my habit to wear sleeves rolled up;)); then I made holes instead of central part between cables; and, to accentuate the holes, I made the sleeves more tight.

Hope, it is not a costume yet. But, may be, it will turn into a dress after a while. Let’s see…
